All bids shall be accepted on the condition that the purchase price shall be paid by the high bidder immediately or at a reasonable time after the conclusion of the electronic auction as determined by the Township. Successful bidders must be prepared to pay the amount due as a certified check or money order made payable to Plainfield Township upon acceptance of the successful bid. In the event that shipping costs are incurred, they shall be paid by the successful bidder. The bidder is responsible for all transfer costs associated with the sale of the vehicles and/or equipment, including any applicable sales tax. There are no warranties expressed or implied or no refunds; all listed vehicles and/or equipment are being offered for sale in their current condition. Plainfield Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids received if the bids are believed to be less than the fair market value of the property
Item Description
This is a 1996 or 1997 Lee Boy 1200 S Asphalt Maintainer. Air cool diesel. This machine does run but is in need of a new belt. Hydraulics do work.
Equipment is being offered for sale AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES.

The winning bidder will be notified within three (3) days of the award of the bid. Bids will go to the Township Board of Supervisors meeting for possible award on November 13, 2024 at 6:00 pm.
SALES TRANSACTION:
The successful bidder shall make payment in full and take acceptance of equipment within ten (10) working days following the bid award. Only a certified check, cashier's check or money order made payable to Plainfield Township will be accepted.

The screed is removed, and not able to pave. There is no mill head.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
