"Does everything function as intended? The pictures do not show much detail, do all of the features work / no visible damage? Is there help on site with loading?" - Asked by #47720429 02/11/2025 10:25 PM |
A: |
The simulator is a prototype. It needs software and possibly hardware updates. As such, any replacement parts or software from Redbird will not work in the sim because they aren’t compatible with the prototype. There is no physical damage to anything. All the hardware is included. The Buyer assumes all responsibility for disassembly (which will be required to get it out of the room). There is no working elevator in the building, so all parts will need to be taken down a set of stairs.

"So this unit doesn't work and the software is not available to make it work?" - Asked by #42227827 02/12/2025 08:27 PM |
A: |
The unit would need software updates in order to function, however, software from Redbird will not work because they aren’t compatible with this prototype.

"Just so I understand correctly, this unit will never work again because it was a prototype, with no working software that can provided by the vendor? And potentially hardware issues as well. And it needs to be fully taken apart and moved down a flight of stairs, with an estimated weight of 3,000LB, with the buyer 100% responsible? I would think all of this should be in the "item description" as it is rather deceiving to bidders as this is an unusable unit, that has zero manufacture support. If all of the above is correct than this unit will never function again and is worth scrap value only? " - Asked by #47720429 02/14/2025 11:09 AM |
A: |
Correct on all accounts. This information has been added to the description.

A: |
That is the correct model number. It is serial number 2.

"Could you please confirm that this system is in a condition where it could be fully operated With the software and hardware update updates? " - Asked by #72076374 02/24/2025 08:59 AM |
A: |
Software and hardware updates from Redbird will not work because they aren’t compatible with this prototype.
