Payment Details
The winning bidder shall be notified after the close of the auction. The winning bidder agrees to pay for vehicle by money order or certified bank check payable to the Poquonnock Bridge Fire District and must be received before receiving the vehicle. Once the successful bidder has taken possession of the items, the transaction shall be recorded in the form of a Bill of Sale for the payment and the purchaser shall sign a written acknowledgment of receipt of the item. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any bid if that is in the best interests of the District.
Item Description
Vehicle is in good condition and was in service until it was recently replaced by a new fleet vehicle. This vehicle was used by a Fire Inspector and was not primarily used for emergency response while in service.
- Has been serviced as required
- New battery and tires installed March 2024.
- 62252.8 miles at time of listing.
- One area of minor rust on driver's side rear wheel well.
- Radio has been removed since photo.
- Exterior warning lights (red & white) are still installed.
- Exterior paint in good condition. Driver's door is original, but logo and striping were removed prior to sale.
- Excellent gas mileage as a Hybrid vehicle.
- Interior of vehicle is clean and free from rips and tears.
- Non-smoking policy so no odor from smoking in vehicle.
- Original owner's manual is inside vehicle.
- Vehicle was purchased new and has had a single owner.
- Exterior lights and turn signals all operable
The original "Certificate Of Origin For A Vehicle" is in-hand and will be available to the buyer, as well as a completed Bill of Sale.
Pick up preferred but will ship at the expense of the successful bidder. Shipping arrangements and all shipping costs are the successful bidder's responsibility."

There is no title. We have the "Certificate of Origin for a Vehicle" issued by Ford and we can provide a signed letter from our district certifying we are the original and only owners of the vehicle.

We would be willing to store the vehicle for two weeks or if the vehicle was shipped, you would be responsible for making those arrangements and payments.
