Item Description

CASH UPON PICKUCK

We have a black 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe with 107,108 miles that was bought new by the city for the police department, up for auction. It started as a police cruiser and was transferred to the inspections department at city hall. This has been sitting for a while but was running when parked, but the engine was making some knocking noises. Batteries are dead and cannot guarantee it will start or run. The Tahoe has the vortec 5.3 V8 engine with the dual battery option. The interior and exterior are in fair shape but there is only one seat in the back passenger side and no other seats in the rear. Mild dents dings and regular wear and tear on the body. The tires and not in great shape but do hold air. Equipped with a reese hitch for towing. Due to the engine noises it would be best to tow this vehicle. This vehicle is at our city hall and can be seen in the parking lot, if additional inspection is desired please make an appointment. The City of Mattoon does NOT offer any warranty and this is an as is all sales final auction. Cash due upon arrival of picking up item. With appointment the item can be seen before auction end. A:	Battery is dead. It was running but the engine has a knock. I cannot suggest to drive. Would suggest to trailer or tow until the engine can be diagnosed. -Answered on 02/01/2025 10:12 AM

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
