Item Description
CASH UPON PICKUP
Up for auction is a 1999 GMC C3500 sierra bucket truck with 138,129 miles. This has been used by our park department for several years but was purchased new from a local utility company. While the city has owned it, at one time a new V8 was installed and one gas tank removed. It runs and drives well but has dents, dings, and scratches from everyday use. The paint is failing on hood and cab plus a few other places. It was taken out of service this past summer because it needed repairs. A local mechanical shop diagnosed that is needed new hydraulic lines and wiring for the bucket lift. It will currently go up and down but we were advised to take it out of service and it has not been inspected since the diagnosis. Before this it was in service everyday for tree trimming and various other needs. There are many part bins for ample storage. The tires and brakes seem fair. Any questions please feel free to ask. The City of Mattoon does NOT offer any warranty and this is an as is all sales final auction. Cash due upon arrival of picking up item. With appointment the item can be seen before auction end. Please feel free to ask questions and we will answer as best and quickly as possible. Item must be picked up within a week of auction end and no shipping.

Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
