Item Description
The ONAN 60kw three phase generator is model no. 60.0 EN-L/31797E. It is powered by a Ford 460ci 8-cylinder motor which runs on propane fuel. It was installed in the borough's waste treatment plant in 1988 and has 433 hours of run time on it. It was removed from service in December 2024 and replaced with a newer model. The carburetor was rebuilt last year. It is being sold together with a 1000 gal. propane tank and an automatic transfer switch as a package.
I have posted the specification sheet to answer the question about the voltage.

Q: |
"Can you tell me if the Volts are
277/480. Thank you." - Asked by #54991518 03/10/2025 10:19 AM |
A: |
I am pretty certain that the voltage is 277. We had no machinery that ran on 480 volts connected to it. I will get back to you today if this answer is incorrect. I checked the manual and there was no reference to the voltage output in it. I have posted a copy of the specifications which were attached to the generator itself. It makes several references to different voltages. You may be able to figure it out. All the items we had connected to the generator were either 120/240v single phase or 240v three phase.
