Item Description
2003 Woodchuck Chipper - This chipper is in excellent working condition, running smoothly with no issues. It has been operated for 2076 hours.
Additional Information: For further details or to inspect the equipment, please contact Jack Jeffers at 646 West Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA 19468 on weekdays between 7:30 am and 2:00 pm or call 610-495-6432 ext. 163. Bids will be presented at the Township Board of Supervisors meeting on October 21st at 7:00 pm.
General Provisions: Bidders are required to read and understand all sale provisions and bid procedures. Failure to comply may result in bid rejection. For clarification, contact Jack Jeffers, Fleet Manager at (610) 495-6432 ext. 163, Monday through Thursday between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Sales Transaction: The successful bidder must make full payment and accept the equipment within ten working days of the bid award. Only certified check, cashier's check, or money order payable to Limerick Township will be accepted.
Pre-Bid Inspection: Equipment can be inspected on-site by appointment only, Monday through Thursday between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm at the Township Public Works Garage located at 646 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA. Contact Jack Jeffers at 610-495-6432 ext. 163.
Important Note: The equipment is sold "AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES." The successful bidder is responsible for the removal and all associated costs. Special arrangements can be made if removal cannot be scheduled at the time of purchase.
Hold Harmless: Upon taking ownership of the equipment, the successful bidder is solely responsible for any injury, damage, or loss. The bidder must safeguard against any harm to public or private property. The bidder must also comply with all laws and regulations during the use, ownership, and disposal of the equipment.

- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
