Item Description
For sale we have an 02 Mack RD688s tandem dump truck w/ 8 speed eaton transmission. Runs and drives but is out of inspection. Dual wall frame is showing cracks around area of dump bed but currently dump bed does not go up for a picture. Actual mileage is unknown but for sure over 200,000 miles. Odometer stopped working at one point and was replaced by Mack but now reads 50,930. Clutch and flywheel were replaced and cylinder heads were removed due to freeze plugs rusting out. Also rear leaf spring trunnions were replaced by us several years ago.
Truck can be inspected in person at 515 Millers Run Rd. Morgan PA 15064. Decals will be removed prior to sale, no plow or spreader available for this truck

"Any pictures of the frame issues?" - Asked by #26372682 02/18/2026 09:35 AM |
A: |
Not at the moment, its not structural damage, there are lengthwise cracks from the rust buildup between the dual frames where it's pushing the outside frame away from the inner one. If we can get the bed up I'll get pictures of it
