Item Description

Truck runs and drive under its own power. It has the Ford 6.0 diesel motor. The motor leaks oils. The cab has rot at the rocker panels. The rear springs are weak. The interior is pretty beat up. The box is and Excellance and in pretty good shape minor paint and corrosion damage.

Engine and radiator replaced March 2023

Has EGR blocking issues because of high idle times and short distance driving.

The lights all work. The front tires look like new. Rear tires look good.

Yes it was. Below is from the invoice 3/1/2023was the date it was done Labor Service - TOWED TO SHOP FOR COOLANT LEAK WAS REPAIR FROM 64.98 OUTSIDE SHOP REPLACED BELTS AND HOSES LOWER HOSE CAME OFF. REINSTALLED, ADDED COOLANT AND BLOWING WHITE SMOKE WENT INTO LIMP MODE. cause- needed to charge batteries to get engine to crank, but after charging batteries for half an hour and getting engine to crank and fire, found that when it fired it was blowing white smoke from the tail pipe. this is coolant burning through the exhaust system. also checked the cooling system by taking the reserviour cap off the coolant bottle and pressure was already in the system and smoke was coming out of the bottle even though the engine was cold. used an exhaust gas tester to check smoke coming out of coolant bottle and it tests positive for exhaust gasses. the head gaskets have failed. - these engines have no tolerance for the cylinder heads. they can not be re planed if they are warped and with the amount of blow by, they are most likely warped. would have to tear down the engine and measure to verify to be 100% sure. reccomended repair would be replacement of the engine. full dress.
