Item Description

The Town of Provincetown is offering for public auction this 1983 Seafarer 22 sailboat, a classic American-made fiberglass sloop that has long been celebrated as one of the best entry-level coastal cruisers of its era. Lightweight, seaworthy, and easy to handle, this Seafarer 22 will make for lovely day sailing around Provincetown Harbor and Cape Cod Bay with minimal expense and a little TLC. The cabin sleeps four and features a slide-open companionway for additional headroom and ventilation.

This vessel is offered as-is, where-is, at Provincetown Harbor. The MA Environmental Police vessel history confirms a clean title (Title No. 616369, active since 7/23/2024), a single owner of record, and absolutely no liens. The registration is current through July 23, 2026 — giving the winning bidder a runway of sailing season to enjoy her right away.

Vessel is sold "as is, where is". There are no warranties expressed or implied. Seller will make all reasonable efforts to enable buyers to inform themselves of vessel condition via visual inspection, but does not and cannot make any representations as to the reliability or suitability of the vessel for any future purpose.
