Item Description

Up for auction is a vintage Boice Crane disc sander with an enclosed steel cabinet base. Boice Crane was a well-respected American manufacturer of industrial-grade woodworking machinery, known for heavy-duty construction and longevity.

The unit features a large sanding disc mounted on a cast iron table surface with a miter slot, a tilting/adjustable work table with a locking crank handle on the side, an enclosed steel cabinet base with dust collection port, and push-button start/stop controls. Power is provided by a Marathon Electric 3/4 HP, 3-phase, 208-220/440V, 1725 RPM motor (Model 56117F25D).

The machine shows some surface rust and wear consistent with age and shop use. The original green paint is intact. Condition is as-is, as pictured — functionality is unknown and not guaranteed.

Note: This machine requires 3-phase power. Pickup only — item will not be shipped due to size and weight.

Sold as is Cash or Credit Card Pick up at the Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology on 21 July 2026 from 8 AM - 12 PM or 22 July 2026 from 12 PM - 4 PM without the seller's consent. Any Items left on site after the listed pick-up dates and times will be considered forfeit and disposed of.
