Removal Assistance: The County will not provide jump-starts, jump boxes, battery chargers, fuel, air for tires, towing, winching, loading equipment, forklifts, trailers, labor, tools, or any other mechanical or personnel assistance for the removal of any vehicle, equipment, or scrap item. Purchasers are solely responsible for bringing all equipment, personnel, tools, and vehicles necessary to inspect, load, start (if possible), tow, transport, and remove their purchased property from County premises. All purchased items must be removed safely and at the purchaser's sole expense.

All items are auctioned in "as-is" condition. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted. All sales are final. The successful bidder will be provided with a Bill of Sale. The Bill of Sale must be picked up before the auctioned item can be released. The Bill of Sale must be signed at the time of pick-up at the Essex County Office of Purchasing, 465 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Newark, New Jersey 07102. The vehicle must be picked up no later than five (5) business days from the date payment is received. Pick-up of the Bill of Sale and auctioned item is by appointment only.
