Item Description

1990 Ford LN8000 Vactor Model 2110C Sewer Cleaning Truck

This 1990 Ford LN8000 is equipped with a reliable Vactor model 2110C sewer cleaning system. Purchased used in 2010 from another township, this truck has been well maintained over the years. In 2018, significant maintenance was performed including replacement of the clutch in the Cummins auxiliary engine, a full pump rebuild, and installation of a new heat exchanger, totaling $26,000 in service costs.

Primarily acquired for hydro excavating, the truck has seen limited use in recent years due to the addition of a newer vehicle to the fleet. For its age, the truck remains in decent shape. It does have some main engine blowby but continues to run very well, paired with a smooth Allison automatic transmission.

There is a power steering leak that developed, and considering the truck's age, we decided not to repair it. However, it recently passed a Pennsylvania inspection in July and is good for another year.
