Payment Details
The winning bid for this auction will be voted on 04/30/21 (auction end date) by the AFRS Board of Directors. Although sale is anticipated, AFRS reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Notification will be made to the winning bidder 4/30/21 by 2100 hrs. Winning bidder will be responsible for any cost incurred to take possession of the vehicle including removal costs, sales tax, title/tag fees, and notary costs. Transfer of the vehicle will be completed at Runkles Notary, 22 East Ave, Red Lion, PA 17356. Payment may be made via cash or bank certified check made out to Alliance Fire and Rescue Services Inc. 201 W Broadway Red Lion PA 17356. Payment is due at the time of pickup. Buyer will have ten (10) days from the end date of the auction to complete payment/transfer and remove the vehicle from AFRS property.
Item Description
Alliance Fire and Rescue Services Inc of Red Lion, PA offers the following vehicle for auction. Please read the entire description carefully as known issues are disclosed within and most questions should be answered. The vehicle is being sold “as is” and “where is” with no warranty or guarantee expressed. This vehicle has been decomissioned with all emergency lighting, sirens, and some infrastructure removed.
The winning bid for this auction will be voted on (accept/reject) on 02/05/2020 (the auction end date) during the monthly business meeting of AFRS Inc. Notification to the winning bidder will be made by 2100hrs that date.

This vehicle is being listed as a DECOMISSIONED vehicle for parts/salvage and not intended for emergency service applications. The vehicle does run, drive and operate as it should and carries a valid PA inspection expiring 3/2020. The vehicle suffered damage to the drivers side rear below the tiller cab and does have a body compartment missing with other damage as pictured. The rear aluminum diamond plate shroud is secured by ratchet strap and may need attention before driving/transporting. There is no frame or chassis damage and the vehicle does carry a clear PA title. There are no DOT lights on the rear of the vehicle and this includes turn/stop/brake/reverse lights. All emergency lighting, sirens, and scene lights have been removed.
- The AI aerial ladder and outrigger system function as they should with the last ladder certification test being 11-14-18.
- The AMPS PTO Hydraulic Generator functions as it should
- The Waterous fire pump and Detroit Diesel Electronic Fire Commander system work as they should however there have been plumbing parts and valves removed from the vehicle.
The vehicle body (cab and trailer) are of aluminum construction with many compartments having slide out trays. There is also a stainless water tank / foam cell on the tractor.

425/65R22.5 Front and rear steering. Both steering axle sets are about a year old.
315/80R22.5 drive axle.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
