Payment Details
The winning bidder shall be notified after the close of the auction. The winning bidder agrees to pay for item(s) by cash, money order, or certified bank check payable to the Town of Burlington. Winning bidder shall mail check to Town of Burlington, Accounting Office at 29 Center St. Burlington, MA before receiving good(s). Once the successful bidder has taken possession of the items, the transaction shall be recorded in the form of a written receipt for the payment and the purchaser shall sign a written acknowledgment of receipt of the item. The Town Administrator will be responsible for signing any Bill of Sale or Registry Title prior to a successful bidder taking possession of the respective item after confirmation of payment. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any bid if that is in the best interests of the Town.
Item Description
2020 Ford explorer police interceptor Hybrid. Retired police car and striped down to bare bones. Please look at all pictures car is stripped down. Car does run but has an issue with the hybrid system and when it is put in drive the car stalls out then will not restart does not move on its own. MUST BE TOWED. Vehicle has no door lock cylinders and driver door handle is broken. 94602.5 Miles. Vehicle must be picked up one week after bid closing.
