The Town of Beacon Falls, CT is selling its 2008 Ford Expedition SUV. The Town has owned this car for 11 years. It currently has 40,718 miles on it. It is not in active use. It starts and can be driven but towing off the lot is recommended. The overall vehicle condition is moderate but the undercarriage of this vehicle is in poor condition due to winter salt. There is rust on the driver side rocker panel and the windshield wipers do not work the best. The front break pads were just replaced but overall, the breaks don't work well. The driver seat fabric is worn and torn in a cew areas. The radio in the car doesn't work all of the time and there also may be other electrical issues present. The lightbar (pictured) on the top of the car has since been removed. This car is being sold in as-is condition. The car was mostly used for police patrol and traffic flagging jobs, which were occasionally in inclement weather. Pick-up only. Money order or certified (cashiers ) check only.

No, the frame rot will not affect drivability. The brakes are not the best though, which may affect drivability.
