Q:
"What happened to this? Do you have the broken pieces? Is the drive shaft still around and just off?"
- Asked by #572282 06/30/2020 01:22 PM
A:
Basically it was being driven down the road and the transmission tore out, bent the driveshaft and severed part of the front flange that the transmission mounts to. The unit was a good running machine and I believe the transmission drive hydraulics is separate from the machine hydraulics. We do have all the broken parts. I will post a photo of the driveshaft. Q:
"So where to go to fix all those damages? And aproximatly how much to put this thing back to work?? Thank you"
- Asked by #20828419 07/05/2020 11:54 PM
A:
Terex was purchased by Yanmar so any Yanmar dealer can order the parts. We had an estimate between $20,000 and $30,000 to fix it, but the time frame for getting the parts was too long and didn't fit in with our road projects maintenance schedule. There are only 2807 hours on the machine so it is worth it for someone to fix it especially given the size and mobility of the machine. (edited on 07/08/2020 02:21 PM)

A:
