Item Description
The Town of Windsor is selling a 1971 Mack Tanker to the highest bidder. This apparatus was built by Imperial Fire Apparatus on a Mack chassis MB685S COE Maxidyne, 200 HP diesel powered tandem with a 750 GPM Pump. The GVW is 12K front and 34K rear. The tank size is 2000 gallons and with a 750 GPM pump powered by a Chrysler 318 engine. This vehicle can pump and roll. This truck is being sold as is and have the following mechanical issue: front brakes did not pass inspection, the rear tandems are out of alignment and the steel tank has a small leak. The mechanical condition of this vehicle is fair and it will be up to the winning bidder to decide if this vehicle is road worthy. The Town of Windsor is selling this vehicle with no implied warranty and as is. The winner bidder will be expected to pay and remove the vehicle within seven days of the close of the auction.
