Seller’s Terms & Conditions
Removal of the vehicle can only be conducted after payment is received by the City of Woonsocket and only during the normal operating hours. The location of the vehicle is at the Woonsocket Fire Department, located at 5 Cumberland Hill Road, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Pick up times will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 8a.m. and 2p.m. excluding holidays. As a condition the winner of the auction will: A. Provide Payment and Removal of the vehicle within 14 working days after the winning bidder has been notified. B. Provide the necessary equipment, tools and labor to remove the vehicle from City Property. C. Remove the vehicle safely and in accordance with applicable local, state and federal highway and transportation requirements. D. Be solely responsible for the removal of the vehicle . E. Provide the necessary equipment, tools and labor to clean the work area post removal if required. F. Be responsible for any individual that may accompany the winning bidder, that is on City property, and is properly trained and/or licensed for the task they are performing. G. Be responsible for taking any and all necessary reasonable fire safety precautions at all times. PAYMENT TERMS All dollar figures are stated in U.S. Dollars. The vehicle is being sold, for one lump sum on an AS-IS, WHERE-IS basis. Payment terms with the City are to be prepaid prior to the removal of the vehicle from City property.
