Q:
"Good morning. Why was the truck taken off the road? Pictures of the frame please. PTO hoist or electric over hydraulic?"
- Asked by #82897084 05/05/2026 06:20 AM
A:
The truck is equipped with an electric-over-hydraulic hoist. The yellow check engine light was related to emissions. The truck was removed from service due to emissions issue, needed brake replacement and general wear and tear. We had the opportunity to upgrade our fleet but only require one dump truck.

Q:
"The truck is driven"
- Asked by #75115938 05/05/2026 10:53 AM
A:
The truck was still operable but has not been driven in the past few weeks since it was replaced with a new unit. It was taken out of service due to emissions issues, needed brake replacement, general wear and tear, and the opportunity to upgrade.

- Asked by #64466152 05/07/2026 09:59 PM

Repairs were not made and the brake and emissions issues still need addressed. The truck was going to be replaced, so the repairs were not completed before it was taken out of service.

Q:
"What is the brake issue? What is the emission issue and are there any exhaust manifold leaks?"
- Asked by #73315331 05/12/2026 09:35 PM
A:
The Brakes are all worn out and need replaced. All we know about the emissions is that it fails emissions tests and it triggers a check engine light.
