Item must be paid for by certified check or bank check to Lower Makefield Township. Full payment must be received by Lower Makefield Township within ten (10) business days of Notice of Award. All items must be removed from Township property within five (5) business days of payment. Lower Makefield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, for any cause whatsoever, as it deems in the best interest of the Township. Prior to acceptance of bid, the Lower Makefield Township Board of Supervisors will vote to accept bid at their next regularly scheduled meeting prior to pick up. Winning bidder will need to have the title transferred at time of pickup and is responsible for all cost associated with title transferring.

Item Description

Unit starts and runs. Plow and tailgate spreader included. Was used this past winter as a front line unit. Does need the secondary battery replaced. Decals and radio removed. Impression and holes may remain. Inspection stickers will be removed prior to pickup.

Prior to acceptance of bid, the Lower Makefield Township Board of Supervisors will vote to accept this bid at their next regularly scheduled board meeting. Bids must be accepted prior release of the auction item. If the auction item is titled, winning bidder will need to have the title transferred at time of pickup and is responsible for all cost associated with title transferring.

A:	Truck is from 2008. Truck has been used for Township plowing and salting. There is normal amounts of rust for the age and use type. Secondary battery will need replacement. Inspection would be recommended as no warranty of condition is expressed or implied. Township vehicles are inspected at our inhouse inspection station. This station is only able to inspect municipal owned venicles. Once sold it is no longer municipal owned and stickers are removed. -Answered on 06/01/2026 09:35 AM
