  Winning Bidder Requirements
• Winning bidder should call Peters Township at 724-941-4180 and speak with Tom Gromek.
• Winning bidder must pay in Cash, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check the exact amount of the winning bid.  No personal checks are accepted, and no business checks are accepted.  Just Cash, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check for the exact amount of the winning bid.  Those are the only 3 options. Checks need to be made out to Peters Township.  No loan checks, no other bank checks are accepted.  Just Cash, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check.

• Winning bidder must be able to meet in person at the Peters Township Municipal Building and, if a non-dealer, go with the a Township staff member to a local notary/auto tag business to transfer the title.
• If transferring the title and plate in-person, the winning bidder should bring insurance information, drivers license, and if transferring a plate, he/she should bring the plate and registration card.
• Winning bidder is responsible for all fees and sales tax at the notary in the transfer of title and registration plate
