You are bidding on a 2008 Ford F-550 4 Wheel Drive Dump Truck with dual rear wheels and a 9'6" Steel Dump Body. 17,950 pound GVWR. The truck has 60,135 miles. Power is provided by a 6.8L V-10 engine and a four speed automatic transmission. The engine, transmission and differentials all worked properly when the truck was removed from service a month ago. The four wheel drive system works. The truck is set up for a snow plow and salt spreader, but this sale does not include a plow or spreader. The plow, salt spreader and bed are all run off of a central hydraulic system. The hydraulics work properly. All options work properly except the air conditioning. The truck is inspected until April 2019. There is a fair amount of rust on the inside and outside of the bed and some holes in the bed sides and tailgate which is to be expected from a truck that has been used for salting and plowing for the past 10 years. The cab is fairly rust free. The frame is solid. All tires have greater than 50% tread. Truck can be driven under its own power upon receipt of payment and transfer of title. Truck is being sold as-is with no warranty or guarantee of any part of the truck. Please inspect the truck personally if you intend to bid on it.
