Purchased by the Authority in 2006. Used by the Municipal Authority for various tasks until 2018.  No longer being used by the Authority due to undetermined issue, after minor investigation believed to have jumped a timing belt within the engine.  Vehicle runs, however it is a rough idol. 

Inspection Expired in April 2018, Last Oil Changed completed November 2017, New Tires mounted January 2017.     

General Bid Criteria

South Middleton Township Municipal Authority (SMTMA) as seller, makes no warranties or representations as to the conditions of the used equipment, it is being sold “as is”.  Therefore, we strongly suggest that you thoroughly inspect equipment prior to placing a bid.  Bidders may arrange to inspect the equipment by calling 717-258-6476 ext. 224 to schedule an appointment. 

Payment in full and pick-up of the awarded materials are expected no later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of Award.  SMTMA reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder if payment and pick-up are not completed within the stipulated timeline.

The successful bidder shall make payment to South Middleton Township Municipal Authority in the form of cash, Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Money Order – made payable to the South Middleton Township Municipal Authority, 345 Lear Lane, P.O. Box 8, Boiling Springs,, PA 17007.  The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof.  Once an award is made, the successful bidder shall then be responsible for the removal of awarded materials within the previously stipulated timeframes.  No deliveries are available.
