The truck was purchased by Sanitation Department in 2010.
Equipment: Right and Left Hand drive low entry right side.
Truck complete with: Allison 6-speed HD-4560P; AM/FM radio with 7-channel weather band.
Truck has Intec Rear Vision Camera System and Hopper-cameras.
Auto idle up that dumps from both sides, two carts each side of truck.
Has bucket to dump cans in for easy loading.
Duties: Picked up dead-ends and one-ways for solid waste.
Yard waste: Picked up canned and bagged yard waste.
Rebuilt the engine in May 2016 with 67,000 miles on it.
It now has 85,584 miles on it.
Issues:
Engine problems at 67,507 miles, sent to International dealer for engine overhaul in May 2016. Currently engine is producing a rattling noise and getting fuel into the oil. Suspect the engine needs injectors.
Bed and packer are currently operational, however the bed is in need of welding repairs, due to cracks, and the packer plate will need some repairs in the near future.
Replaced air conditioner compressor in May 2016.
Removed from service in 2018, due to 8 year replacement plan.
