Up for auction is a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. The vehicle is in good shape for the age and only has 88,584 original miles and a recently new battery. The vehicle has been garage kept for the last two years but fires right up and runs great. It was repainted Ford "son of a gun gray" approximatley three years ago and the paint still looks good. Due to down sizing of the department, the vehicle is being put up for auction.
While in regular patrol use, the vehicle received monthly servicing consisting of oil changes and tire rotations as well as a yearly full service where all fuilds were changed. The vehicle does have an expired inspection of 10/18. It was recently looked over by the departments mechanic who reported a broken exhaust bolt on the left side manifold at the head. The manifold does not leak and according to the mechanic the broken bolt should not prohibit the vehicle from passing inspection. In fact the only reason it was not reinspected was because we removed the registration from the vehicle and garaged it.
The vehicle has been decommissioned and all emergency lights, sirens, and accessories have been removed. If the winning bidder wants the push bumper, I'll throw it back on the car.
The winning bidder of the vehicle will also be awarded a full set of snow tires and a summer spare tire mounted on a rim.
