2013 Ford Police Interceptor (Taurus)

The Borough of Hamburg is selling a 2013 Ford Police Interceptor (Taurus).  the vehicle is being replaced through fleet attrition.  From the photos, you will see that the vehicle was maintained and the records are available for physical inspection, upon request. The records will not be posted, nor will they be downloaded and emailed.  This means that prospective buyers need to contact Chief Kuklinski at 610-562-7228 and make arrangements with the police secretary to review the documents.  The vehicle has 76,XXX miles at this time.  Motor and transmission have no issues. This is an all wheel drive vehicle.  There was some minor body repair done to the vehicle from an accident involving a bicycle. The driver fender and the front bumper cover were replaced.   There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle. The vehicle was NEVER equipped with a push bumper.

The vehicle, starts, runs and drives as it should.

When the vehicle was decommissioned, the light bar, radio as well as other emergency equipment was removed.  The partition, radio console, and the trunk equipment mounting tray stay with the vehicle. There are no tears in the seats. The front bucket seats are cloth and the rear is vinyl.

The trunk is clean. Tire Condition is very good, as this vehicle had tires replaced just before the November 2018 inspection, and the vehicle was not driven much since the inspection. Heat and Air Conditioning work as they should.  There are no detected steering or suspension problems.

There are bumps and a few scrapes as well as the holes from where radio antennas were mounted. Names have been removed from the vehicle and some of the emergency reflective markings still remain. Hamburg Borough will not remove anything additional.
