2007 Freightline / Thomas Bus

Sealed bids are invited for purchasing the item listed below from the Greater Lowell Technical High School:

Surplus Vehicle 2019                                   

Both parties acknowledge that the above mentioned vehicle is sold as seen, that the buyer has tried and inspected the vehicle to his/her satisfaction and has approved the purchase with the understanding that the vehicle is sold “AS IS” without warranties or guarantees, either expressed or implied. The Buyer accepts full responsibility for any repairs incurred following the sale, as well as any costs related to vehicle registration, safety certification, or transfer of ownership. All risks and responsibilities pass to the Buyer once payment is made in full and the Buyer takes possession of the vehicle.

• The bus has not been in regular operation for 2+ years. The bus has been parked since that time.
• The bus has been modified to allow for a storage area in the rear and seating up front.
• There are a few windows missing from the bus.

A preview of the item for sale will by appointment only between 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 PM at Greater Lowell Technical High School 250 Pawtuckett Blvd Tyngsboro, MA 01879.  Contact the School Business Administrator Michael Knight at mknight@gltech.org or 978-441-4900 to arrange a time to view the bus.

Bids will be received at the office of Michael Knight, School Business Administrator, until August 14, 2019 at 1:00PM, at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud:

The Greater Lowell Technical High School Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received, as deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Owner, and its decision shall be final.
