1980 Ford 800 (429-4V) Fire Truck

You are bidding on a 1980 Ford/Maxim 800 fire truck with a 429-4V gas engine in as-is, where-is condition. Manual 5-speed transmission with four-wheel drive. Unsure if the four-wheel drive will work. This vehicle has an 850 gallon water tank with 750 GPM Hale pump. There is a fair amount of rust on the body and inside the hood. There also appears to be substantial corrosion on the plumbing. The frame looks pretty solid. 

Odometer reads 28,626.9 - I am not sure if it has rolled over. The VIN is non-conforming as it's only 11 digits. GVWR is 31,000 pounds. See pictures for additional information. 

When last driven it was running hot. The truck was retired in 2015. It started with a jump and was driven on Monday.

Ladders
Hose Reel
Folding portable tank (1500 gallon)
