1998 Johnston 3000A Recirculating Air Sweeper

1998 Johnston 3000a Recirculating Air sweeper that was purchased brand new by our Borough.  The Boro purchased a new sweeper that is MS4 compliant and is the reason for this sale.  This is a 3 wheeled vehicle that make very sharp turns and is very agile(14ft turning radius).  The sweeper has 3,959 miles and 1,733 hours on it but may increase some due to possible use. It has a 200 gal poly water tank, 6cyl diesel engine, & a hydrostatic drive system.  It has a front, center drive position that allows the operator to easily see the roadway and any obstructions.  It has the Kysor shutdown system, water spray and an automatic transmission.  This unit does NOT require CDL to operate.  It has cab mounted controls and electric dump hopper(6.2 cu. yd).  It has a light bar on rear that will flash to warn drivers.  This unit still picks up well and will include the set of manuals with it.  Please review the photos included to verify condition and options.  This sale is an AS-IS, WHERE-IS, HOW-IS transaction.  It is not a brand new machine but should serve someone well.  Please request additional photos or come in person to see any issues prior to bidding.  The outcome of the sale of this sweeper WILL be determined at our normally scheduled authority meeting on May 12th.  Winning bidder must schedule pickup within 10 days of award.  **Please note that the communications radio shown in photos will be removed and does NOT come with the sweeper.**
