450 Ton Trane Chiller, Cooling Tower and Pumps

Up for bid is a 450 ton Trane CVHE450 3-stage chiller, cooling tower, 2 cooling tower pumps, and 2 chilled water pumps. 

The chiller was manufactured in 1998, but was completely refurbished by Trane in 2016 for $120,000. It was given a 5-year warranty and has 1 year left. According to Trane, the remainder of the warranty is transferrable. As part of the refurbishing, it was upgraded with a Tracer AdaptiView control for $35,000. It has been serviced and maintained by Trane and was in service until this week. It operates at 460V.

The cooling tower is a Baltimore Aircoil Company model 1-33315-1. It is sold as-is. It was in service until this week and has been maintained and serviced by Trane.

There are two cooling tower pumps included. They are Taco model number FE5010. They are 990 GPM at 93 ft. hd. They are sold as-is. They were in service last until this week and have been maintained and serviced by Trane.

There are two chilled water pumps included. They are Taco model number FE4008. They are 720 GPM at 45 ft. hd. They are sold as-is. They were in service until this week and have have been maintained and serviced by Trane.

These items are scheduled to be removed by Trane as part of a large HVAC project for the district. Trane will have a crane on site 2 times during the project. Buyer may coordinate pickup with the availability of the crane and Trane will set the items on your truck. If the timing does not work out for the buyer, buyer will be responsible for a their own crane, rigging and pickup. The crane will be on site approximately May 12th and approximately June 12th., depending on the pase of the project. If the buyer is unable to pick up the items on the days specified by Trane, buyer will have to provide their own crane at their expense.
