Chartiers Township is auctioning several items of surplus equipment, specifically a 2010 Ford Explorer, a wooden desk, a drafting table and a bookshelf. Interested parties may place bids on the municipal auction site municibid.com. The Township will not open or accept offers in any other form. Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020: The equipment will be available for inspection at 2 Buccaneer Drive, Houston, PA 15342 during regular business hours. Please call the Township office at 724-745-3415 to arrange an inspection. These items, vehicle and furniture will be sold “AS IS”. More complete descriptions are available on the municibid.com listings. The Township has made every effort to describe equipment and their conditions as accurately as possible and will not be held responsible for typographical errors or errors in description. Therefore the Township encourages inspection prior to bidding. Bids will be awarded at the September 22, 2020 meeting of the Chartiers Township Board of Supervisors at 5:00 p.m. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid when deemed in the best interest of the Township to do so.
