Up for bid is our 2017 Ford Police Interceptor AWD Explorer. This vehicle has one owner and was ordered new by the FIndlay Township Police Department as an unmarked, undercover / traffic unit. It was ordered with a roof rack, factory aluminum rims and solid tan/gold color so it will totally blend in with all the civilian Ford Explorers yet this is a full police package, pursuit rated vehicle from the factory. The only hint of it's police capabilities on the exterior is a driver's side spot light.
This vehicle currently has approximately 136880 miles on it. The vehicle runs and drives great. There are no service or idiot lights lit up on the dash, everything is in good working order mechanically and all options work as they should. The A/C blows cold and there are current PA safety Inspection and Emission stickers good through March of 2021. The only known issues are the spot light handle is broken, the drivers seat has a wear through spot on the back from the butt of the officers duty weapons and there is a small crack on the top of the rear bumper (see pictures). The vehicle was serviced monthly since new and currently has very good pursuit rated tires. There is an aftermarket rear molded plastic seat currently installed and the OEM seat is available to go with the vehcile. There are a few minor scratches and dings on the body. Any issues were always quickly taken care of and have been addressed by a local mechanic shop and/or the local Ford dealer. All service / repair records will go with the vehicle upon it's sale.
This is a used police vehicle and a personal inspection is always recommended. This vehicle is AS IS, WHERE IS, and has NO WARRANTY expressed or implied. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. Thanks for looking and best regards.
