2004 JCB, Model 214 Backhoe

The Borough of Freedom desires to sell the following:  1-2004 JCB Backhoe, Model # 214 with Extend-Hoe and the machine is four wheel drive.  The machine currently has an estrimate of 2500 hours.  There is comestic damage and has an unknown electrical issue.  Machine has difficulty starting , but will run once started.  New starter and alternator installed less than 1 year ago.  New windshiled in the box that goes with the machine.  Have orginal operators and parts manual.  The machine may be viewed at the Freedom Borough Building, 901 3rd Avenue, Freedom, PA 15042 by contacting the borough secretary at (724) 728-5744, ext 1.  The Borough of Freedom implies no warranty, express or otherwise on this machine and is sold “As Is”.  Bids will be accepted for the sale of this vmachine until Tuesday April 13th, 2021 at 12:00 PM.   A bid bond is not required and the Borough of Freedom reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.  Bids will be considered at the Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 at 6:00 P.M..  The highest bidder will be contacted the next business day if accepted.
