2007 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4. This vehicle was formerly a police patrol vehicle, transferred to a police administration vehicle and was then moved to the Fire Department for use by Code Enforcement Officers. The vehicle has 74,873 miles. 4.0L V-6 Engine, 5-Speed Automatic Transmission and full-time All Wheel Drive with the ability to select 4 Wheel Drive High and 4 Wheel Drive Low gear selections.This is a 5 passenger vehicle with front bucket seats and a 2nd row bench seat. All seats are cloth.
Options include Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, AM/FM/CD Player and Aluminum Wheels. Air Conditioning does not work.
There is a check engine light on and the vehicle runs rough at idle. There is a clearly audible tap in the engine that smooths out while driving but there may be a larger problem with the engine.
There are a few minor rust spots but no holes or body damage.
Inspection expires July 31, 2021.
