PUBLIC NOTICE OF SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY/SURPLUS EQUIPMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 1504 of the Second Class Township Code that beginning on Thursday, August 26, 2021, 8:30 A.M. EST, the Conewango Township Board of Supervisors will offer for sale to the highest bidder at electronic auction sale the following item which will be for sale in "as is" condition: 2015 International Terrastar with 10' Everest RLHD 120 Power Angling Snow Plow and 9' Everest Wing plow.
Bids are being accepted through the Municibid website at https://municibid.com/. Item for sale can be found under the Pennsylvania municipality listing of Conewango Township and Listing #38064339 (2015 International Terrastar).
This auction will be open for bidding until Monday, September 13, 2021,12:30 P.M. EST, which is the date and time set for the opening of bids. The duration of the listing is from Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 8:30 A.M. EST until Monday, September 13, 2021, 12:30 P.M. EST for a total of eighteen days. The award of the bid contract/agreement of sale shall be made by public announcement at a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. EST at the Township building, 4 Fireman Street Warren, PA 16365.
All bids shall be accepted on the condition that the purchase price shall be paid by the high bidder immediately or at a reasonable time after the conclusion of the electronic auction as determined by the Township. Successful bidders must be prepared to pay the amount by certified check made payable to Conewango Township upon acceptance of the successful bid. In the event that shipping costs are incurred, such costs shall be paid by the successful bidder. The bidder is responsible for all transfer costs associated with the sale of vehicles and/or equipment, including any sales tax. There are no warranties expressed or implied or no refunds; the listed vehicle and equipment are being offered for sale in their current condition.
