Youngwood Borough, as seller, disclaims any warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability of fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. VEHICLE BEING SOLD "AS IS" BASIS. So, please be sure to inspect the equipment. Bidders must be 18 years old and legally able to form a binding contract as buyer. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due not later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of Award or the Borough reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to Youngwood Borough in the form of cash, cashier's check, certified check, or money order, made payable to Youngwood Borough, 17 South 6th Street, Youngwood, PA 15697. Successful bidder shall remove the item(s) within ten (10) calendar days following the award and receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof. PICKUP IS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM Monday thru Friday. Equipment Title Transfer: The successful bidder shall be responsible for all cost incurred for title transfer. Vehicle offered sale is currently owned and maintained by Youngwood Borough, Pennsylvania.
Pre-Bid Inspection: Truck for sale may be inspected on site Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM at the Borough Public Works Garage located at 508 South 3rd Street Youngwood, PA 15697. Truck is offered for sale "AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES" the successful bidder, upon making payment and taking ownership, shall be responsible for all cost incurred for removal of truck. Youngwood Borough is not responsible for the truck once it has left the Borough property. Bids will go to the Council of the Borough of Youngwood for award on November 1, 2021 at 7:00 PM..
