-The successful bidder will be required to put forth a non-refundable cash or cashier’s check deposit of ten percent (10%) of the bid cost by close of business 3:00 pm, within three (3) days of award of the Bid at the Commissioners’ Public Meeting, Thursday, April 23, 2026, 10:00 am.
-The successful bidder will pay all closing costs, fees, attorney costs, transfer costs, etc… as Cambria County will bear no costs upon closing. This includes payment of all pressure testing requirements borne by the purchaser prior to transfer.
-The remainder will be due upon closing.

-The bid will be awarded to the highest responsible and responsive bidder. However, the County reserves the right to also consider the ability of the Bidder to fulfill all terms of the contract when making and award.
-The contract to purchase the property will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid will be most advantageous to Cambria County, price and other factors considered.
-Cambria County has the right to accept or reject all or any portion of any or all bids submitted and further reserves the right to waive any informality, infirmity, omission, defect, irregularity and/or disqualifying error in any bid to make the award in the best interest of the County.
-All bid quotes shall be fixed for 90 days.
-All transfers must be compliant with the County Code
-An electrical box located inside of the office building will need to be relocated to the outside of the building. Cambria County, along with Ebensburg Borough, will facilitate this relocation of the electrical box. The awarded bidder must allow the removal of the box.
