Springdale Borough, as seller, disclaims any warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability of fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. The vehicle is being sold on an “As is, where is” basis. Bidders must be a Municipal entity and legally able to form a binding contract as buyers. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due at time of pickup, which is no later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of award or the Borough reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to Springdale Borough in the form of cash, or certified check, made payable to Springdale Borough, 325 School Street, Springdale, PA 15144. Successful bidder shall remove vehicle within seven (7) days following the Notice of award. If the buyer does not remove the vehicle from the premises, no refunds will be given. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids received. Buyer has sole responsibility of picking up the vehicle. Delivery is not available. Springdale Borough is not responsible for the vehicle once it has left the Borough property.
Buyer of vehicle will need to accompany a Borough representative to tag/title processing location to transfer title to new owner.
Vehicle may be picked up at the Borough building located at 325 School Street (REAR), Springdale, PA 15144.
The successful bid will be awarded at the Borough Council meeting on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, should the reserve be met.
