SALE OF SURPLUS EQUIPMENT

Chartiers Township is auctioning several items of surplus equipment, specifically a 1997 Ford Box Van, a 1995 International, and a Frialator Fryer.  Interested parties may place bids on the municipal auction site municibid.com.  The Township will not open or accept offers in any other form. Bids will be received until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2021:  The equipment will be available for inspection at 2 Buccaneer Drive, Houston, PA 15342 and the Chartiers Township Community Center (Fryer) at 2013 Community Center Drive, Houston, PA 15342 during regular business hours.  Please call the Township office at 724-745-3415 to arrange an inspection.  These items, vehicle and equipment will be sold “AS IS”.  More complete descriptions are available on the municibid.com listings.  The Township has made every effort to describe equipment and their conditions as accurately as possible and will not be held responsible for typographical errors or errors in description.  Therefore the Township encourages inspection prior to bidding.  Bids will be awarded at the December 21, 2021 meeting of the Chartiers Township Board of Supervisors at 5:00 p.m. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid when deemed in the best interest of the Township to do so.
