Trash Compactor

This used, 2003 Wastequip 265X stationary trash compactor (2 yards) without receiver is in working condition with a force rating of 19,500 lbs. This compactor is designed for areas where space is limited. A rotary phase generator is included. Both pieces have dents, scratches and rust expected for equipment of this age. Sold as is. Sold where is.

All prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the trash compactor and generator or ask questions before bidding. The auction will be closed at noon on Friday, December 16, 2022. Bids will be voted on by the Board of Selectmen on Monday evening, December 19, 2022. The Town of New Marlborough reserves the right to accept or deny any and all bids. The items must be removed by purchaser within 10 business days after bidder has been awarded. Assistance in loading the compactor will be provided. The compactor will not be shipped. Payment in full is due to The Town of New Marlborough no later than Tuesday, December 27, 2022, five working days after the vote. Payment should be made with a certified check, cashier’s check or money order. No cash or personal checks accepted. Please note, it may take 2-3 days to process payment once it is received.
