The backhoe is currently in use by Public Works Department and the hours on November 1, 2022 were 4,813.7. Hours will increase as machine is used.
The backhoe is serviced regularly and will be due for service soon. Everything works as it should.
Backhoe Details:
A/C and heat work in cab, and equipment has AM/FM radio with CD player.
Comes with 24” bucket and has hydraulic hookups for tamper/pecker.
All tires are 2-3 years old.
A new hydraulic pump was installed 4-5 years ago and there are some new hydraulic hoses on back boom.
Boom could use rebushing.
Out rigger pads need replaced.

Appointment only Monday – Friday to view the backhoe. Certified check or money order, made payable to Borough of Elizabethtown, is required at time equipment is transferred.

Sale will not be finalized until approved by Elizabethtown Borough Council. Bid results will be reviewed with council on November 17, 2022.
Winning bidder will be notified by Elizabethtown Borough.
