1999 Pierce Dash Pumper

1999 Pierce Dash 1500 GPM pump, Allison Transmission.  Detriot Diesel.  750 Gallon water tank.  Sold as is with no equipment.   Buyer should do their own due diligence and inspections are strongly encouraged.  Buyer responsible for pickup.  

This engine was taken out of service and last driven to its current location at the city yard in July of 2022. The following issues were the cause to remove from service.

                Class 1 leak at the oil pan, hose fitting at right rear of oil pan

                Class 1 leak at 2 cooler lines at transmission, leaking fittings

                Water leaking into oil

                Rear axle has 3 loose u-bolts and has shifted ½” towards the driver’s side

                Frame rusted, wheelwell hanger in rear driver’s side is broken and hanging

                Brake shields are rusting off

                Air tanks are corroded

                Cab lift not working with control, manual lift will not work

                Pump transfer valve defective, level could not be pushed in to transfer to pressure mode

                Structure that holds the pump drains is perforated and falling apart

                Pump primer is inoperable

                Various handrails are corroded/broken

                Various emergency lights, scene lights and high beams are defective
