FLOATING PORTABLE FIRE PUMP

The Chief, by Otterbine Barebo Inc, Power Built floating portable fire pump Model #194702 has a Briggs & Stratton gas engine and a 3" inlet/discharge. This pump has had one owner, The Town of New Marlborough. The pump works, but the engine doesn't start. This pump will be sold as is. This pump will be sold where is. All prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the pump or ask questions before bidding. The auction will be closed at 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 3, 2023. Bids will be voted on by the Board of Selectmen on Monday February 6, 2023. The Town of New Marlborough reserves the right to accept or deny any and all bids. The pump must be removed by purchaser within 10 business days after bidder has been awarded. The pump will not be shipped. Payment in full is due to The Town of New Marlborough no later than Tuesday, February 14, 2023, five working days after the vote. Payment should be made with a certified check, cashier’s check or money order. No cash or personal checks accepted. Please note, it may take 2-3 days to process payment once it is received.
