We are listing our 2015 Interceptor sedan with just over 70,000 miles with 6963 engine hours and 4189 Idle hours. It has the 3.5 ecoboost twin turbo engine. This vehicle started its life as the Chiefs vehicle then was cycled to another Officer as his Take home car. In the last 20,000 miles we have replaced the cat converters, water pump, timing chain, all new coil packs, plugs, wires. All work that was completed has been done at a local Ford Dealer and we have most of the service records. There is Deer damage to the front passenger side fender. We replaced the headlight but never had the dent popped back out, it does not effect the driving as it hit the deer in December of 2021.
Has been an unmarked slicktop vehicle since new no holes in the roof only hole drilled was in the trunk lid for the radio antenna.
Currently it has all Whelen red and blue lights and an evidence box built in the trunk. Unless sold to another Police Deptartment all emergency lighting will be removed. The laptop and thermal printer will also be removed and are NOT included in the sale.
The vehicle will go up in miles as it is still in service. The only reason this vehicle is being sold is its next up in the fleet to go as a new replacement is here and ready for service.
On 04/13/2023 the car shuttered blew smoke out the tail pipe and the check engine light came on. We did some research and its possible it will need new turbos or it will need a new sensor. The vehicle is now parked at our Borough Sheds and will not be driven anymore.
