ULTRA LOW BACKGROUND LEAD BRICKS - DSS3128

This auction is for:

324 ultra-low background lead bricks.  This lot of lead bricks was made from pre-World War 2 smelted lead and have been used exclusively in the radio analytical services laboratory for measuring environmental level samples.  All bricks measure 2" X 4" X 8", weighing 25lbs each, for a total of approximately 8,100lbs. There are 324 complete bricks, seven (7) more with handles attached that measure 12" X 3" X 2", and five (5) additional pieces that have been cut to various shapes. These bricks can be easily reassembled into the detectors that they were originally used for. The lot also includes two (2) 28" X 28" heavy duty steel tables, along with the steel frames that make up the doors to the detectors. PLEASE SEE PICTURES AND PDF BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS.

Removal Instructions: The asset must be removed within 10 working days of close of auction. Any asset paid for but not picked up within 10 working days will be subject to a $40 storage fee per calendar day or forfeiture. The removal is the responsibility of the winning bidder.
