Up here we have our 2018 Police Interceptor Utility with 50,084 miles and 5,424 engine hours. This car is currently marked and has interior lights plus mirror lights, lights in the grill and a red blue stick in the rear window (all lights will stay if sold to another police agency), it also still has 2 cages in it to separate front and rear seats and the rear seat and cargo area. We will remove the graphics at no cost to the bidder as they are vinyl. This vehicle has been used primarily by the Chief of Police and has been garage kept. We are a small 2-man department with approx. 1.5 square miles of coverage.
We have maintained this vehicle with up to date oil changes every 3,000 miles and all warranty work has been done at a local Ford Dealer. It has one new turbo in it which is less than a year old. This vehicle is still in service so the milage will change before the bidding closes. We have had no issues with this vehicle and are only looking to sell as it is next up in the fleet to go.
The winning bidder will have to allow the borough ample time to get the equipment and decals removed. The company who has to do the radio is booked out 4-6 weeks but we are required to use them due to our County owning the radio. We will work with the winning bidder to make sure the process goes smoothly and all parties are communicated with.
