Description/condition: Hennepin County used the scanner as recently as last winter and it works great. We are looking to sell this scanner because Hennepin County purchased a newer model. Our model has the stand for the scanner to sit upon and a user manual, but not the other accessories like the foot switch or transparency drum.  It can scan originals up to 48” wide, and we often scanned items over 6’ long but have on occasion scanned items over 20’ long. The winning bidder must pay for the physical labor to move it, a computer and the software to run it (we use “Batch Scan Wizard”), and paying for a technician to set it up at your site and calibrate it (rough estimate of $600 to calibrate the scanner). The scanner has four cameras and stitches together a single image, so it’s very sensitive to being moved.  Anytime the scanner is moved it should be recalibrated, and a major move is guaranteed to require recalibration.  We strongly recommend setting up a service contract with a vendor for this reason. The county can provide the winning bidder the contact information for the technician who previously worked on the scanner.

The scanner will be available for pickup M-F, 8am-3pm at Hennepin County Government Center (300 S 6 St, Minneapolis MN 55487). Loading dock or curbside pickup is available. The winning bidder will be contacted by Imaging staff to schedule pickup arrangements.
