2008 GMC Sierra 3500HD that was used as a park department vehicle since it was purchased as a new vehicle. It is an extended cab with a utility bed, a 6.0 L V8 engine, 4WD, and automatic transmission. The vehicle has been services every 3,000 miles and currently has 49,931 miles. The vehicle has a Blizzard Snow plow with extendable wings. The check engine light and air bag light are both on and there is a leak at the right rear axle seal. The inspection ran out in 2023 but it runs and drives well.
Elizabethtown Borough made an attempt to accurately describe this vehicle. The vehicle sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranties implied. CAVEAT EMPTOR. Appointment only Monday – Friday to view the vehicle. Vehicle title must be transferred and picked up by May 3, 2024. Purchaser is responsible for all transfer and transportation costs. Certified check or money order, made payable to Borough of Elizabethtown, is required at time vehicle is transferred.
Q: Is there a lot of damage to the front end from having a plow on it all these years
A: There is no apparent damage that we can see. The plow is in working condition.
Q: So the truck would have to be hauled from where it’s is stored ?
A: The truck is able to be driven and runs well but it is not inspected.
Q: Very interested in the truck I’m bidding from far. Is there only number I can call just to get to know the truck better?
A: Unfortunately, questions should be asked on Municibid so all potential bidders have access to the same information.
Q: Is there any rust on the truck and how is the undercarriage? The pictures are a little blurry and I'm bidding from a distance. Thank you.
A: The cab doesn't have any rust but the utility body has some minor rust in a few areas. The underneath has surface rust on the frame and other areas but not rusted through on the frame or any other areas.
