2015 blue Ford fusion four door sedan. 2.0 L/Hybrid engine with CVT transmission, front wheel drive, cloth seats, power windows, power locks. Mileage is 116,496 miles, Currently inspected. Edit- I drove the car and the check engine light was off. I spoke with the mechanic and he said the hybrid battery is not good and loses charge rapidly.
Q: Not super familiar with how hybrids work, does the battery need to be replaced in order to drive or would it just be able to drive using only gas in spite of a bad battery?
A: Google says a hybrid cannot be driven with a bad hybrid battery. I don’t know enough about them to answer your question. Suggest you speak with your mechanic.

A: No known issues. Maintenanced by public works regularly.
